Travelling to Hanoi, Vietnam

The in-person conference venue is Swinburne Innovation Space, No. 80 Duy Tan Street, Cau Giay, Hanoi, Vietnam. International participants should confirm whether their nationality and passport type require a visa before travelling to Vietnam.

Vietnam e-Visa

Vietnam's official e-Visa is currently available for stays of up to 90 days with single or multiple entry, subject to eligibility and immigration approval.

  • Apply only through the official Vietnam Immigration Department portal.
  • Current government fees are USD 25 for single entry and USD 50 for multiple entry and are non-refundable.
  • Check that your chosen arrival and departure checkpoints accept e-Visas.

Arrival in Hanoi

The main international gateway for the conference venue is Noi Bai International Airport (HAN). Keep a printed or digital copy of your approved visa and conference documents available while travelling.

  • Ensure your passport remains valid for the period required by Vietnamese immigration authorities.
  • Verify that all details on the issued visa exactly match your passport.
  • Confirm current entry rules with an official Vietnamese authority before departure.

For registered attendees

Visa Support Letters

  • A visa support letter may be issued only after conference registration and payment have been completed successfully.
  • Letters are available only to registered participants, authors, chairs and speakers. They cannot be issued to accompanying guests.
  • A support letter is supplementary evidence of your intended conference participation. It does not replace a visa or guarantee approval; the final decision rests with Vietnamese immigration or consular authorities.
How to request a letter

After completing registration and payment, email your full name as shown on your passport, registration or paper ID, affiliation and contact details.
